West County FPD approves agreements with college, vendors

Half-cent county sales tax jump is tough plan to sell to some

With police in unincorporated St. Louis County long underfunded, pass a half-cent sales tax for the whole county to raise $80 million for departments around the county, but particularly the St. Louis County Police Department. That’s the idea behind Proposition P, a sales tax measure that county voters will consider on April 4.
