Westminster Christian Academy and CBC High were two of the 13 schools chosen to participate in the Centene Charitable Foundation’s Art Aficionados program. Among those invited to participate in the St. Louis Art Festival was Westminster senior Isabel Warner and juniors Moorea Atkins and Carter Hickel.

Girls take flight

More than 100 young women from 15 bi-state area high schools learned about future careers in aviation as they participated in the first ever Girls in Aviation Day at St. Louis Downtown Airport in Cahokia, Illinois. Local participating schools with students at Girls in Aviation Day included Parkway North High, Parkway South High Westminster Christian Academy and Villa Duchesne.

Westminster experiencing staff turnover

Along with 183 seniors graduating in spring of 2016, Westminster Christian Academy has experienced some faculty turnaround as well. Westminster had a total of 17 faculty and staff leave at the end of the spring semester, including seven full-time faculty and several part-time faculty. Several members of the communications department, college counseling department and other support staff and also left at the end of the school year.
